"Fruit Gums" Clock
Type : Gem
Description :

The clock's display is short and stocky. The clock has a nice amount of padding at the edges. There is a good amount of space between the digits of the clock's display, so the digits have plenty of breathing room. The clock has an edge glow effect. The edge glow is very opaque. The color of the edge glow is black. It extends all the way to the center, but still allows a hint of what's behind it to show through. The clock has a color grid effect as a background. The color at the top left corner is close to crimson, with a hint of fire brick and red. The color at the top right corner is close to medium sea green, with a hint of lime green and dark sea green. The color at the bottom left corner is close to dark orange, with a hint of chocolate and tomato. The color at the bottom right corner is close to medium sea green, with a hint of lime green and medium aquamarine. The digits of the clock's display are made up of several segments. The digits are quite transparent, so one can still see fairly clearly what is beneath them. Their color is close to pale turquoise, with a hint of gainsboro and lavender. There is a very slight and almost unnoticeable gap between the digit segments. The digit segments have a drop shadow. The direction of the shadow is northwest. The shadow is offset by a fair amount. The shadow is extremely blurred, so that it is soft and blends seamlessly into the surroundings. The shadow has a small amount of spread, adding a bit of strength. The color of the shadow is black. The shadow is completely opaque, and should feel very strong. The digit segments have two inset shadows. First, let's describe the first of the inset shadows. The direction of the shadow is southeast. The shadow is offset very slightly. The shadow is modestly blurred, but its outline is still discernible. The color of the shadow is close to spring green, with a hint of medium spring green and medium sea green. The shadow is fairly transparent, but should be sufficiently noticeable. Now, let's describe the second of the inset shadows. The direction of the shadow is northwest. The shadow is offset very slightly. The shadow is modestly blurred, but its outline is still discernible. The color of the shadow is close to blue violet, with a hint of dark orchid and dark violet. The shadow is quite opaque, and should be very noticeable.

The Gem clock combines a 3x5 matrix display for the digits, a four corner color smooth gradient background, and an edge glow with themeable color, thickness, and opacity. The individual segments of the digits support theming by color, opacity, segment gap, two inset shadows, and one drop shadow. Additionally, digit spacing, overall clock aspect ratio, and edge padding can also be themed.
