"Egg-cellent" Clock
Type : Gem
Description :

The clock's display is short and stocky. The clock has a small but comfortable amount of padding at the edges. There is a good amount of space between the digits of the clock's display, so the digits have plenty of breathing room. The clock has an edge glow effect. The edge glow is so transparent that it is very subtle and barely noticeable. The color of the edge glow is black. It is very fat and extends close to the center, leaving a small window clear in the middle. The clock has a color grid effect as a background. The color at the top left corner is close to moccasin, with a hint of navajo white and pale goldenrod. The color at the top right corner is close to green yellow, with a hint of gold and yellow. The color at the bottom left corner is close to goldenrod, with a hint of dark goldenrod and peru. The color at the bottom right corner is close to purple, with a hint of dark slate blue and indigo. The digits of the clock's display are made up of several segments. The digits are quite transparent, so one can still see fairly clearly what is beneath them. Their color is white. There is no gap between the digit segments. The digit segments have a drop shadow. The shadow has no offset. The shadow is blurred a lot, so that it blends nicely into the surroundings. The shadow has a fair amount of spread, adding strength. The color of the shadow is black. The shadow is completely opaque, and should feel very strong. The digit segments have two inset shadows. First, let's describe the first of the inset shadows. The direction of the shadow is southeast. The shadow is offset by a modest amount. The shadow is modestly blurred, but its outline is still discernible. The color of the shadow is close to gold, with a hint of goldenrod and sandy brown. The shadow is almost completely opaque, and should feel rather strong Now, let's describe the second of the inset shadows. The direction of the shadow is northwest. The shadow is offset very slightly. The shadow is modestly blurred, but its outline is still discernible. The shadow has a good amount of spread, adding quite a bit of strength. The color of the shadow is close to maroon, with a hint of black and dark red. The shadow is very opaque, and should feel quite strong.

The Gem clock combines a 3x5 matrix display for the digits, a four corner color smooth gradient background, and an edge glow with themeable color, thickness, and opacity. The individual segments of the digits support theming by color, opacity, segment gap, two inset shadows, and one drop shadow. Additionally, digit spacing, overall clock aspect ratio, and edge padding can also be themed.
