"Blockly" Clock
Type : Gem
Description :

The clock's display is low and wide. The clock has a nice amount of padding at the edges. There is quite a bit of space between the digits of the clock's display, so the digits feel somewhat far apart. The clock has an edge glow effect. The edge glow is intensely opaque. The color of the edge glow is close to dark green, with a hint of dark slate grey and green. It is fat and extends close to the center, leaving just a window clear in the middle. The clock has a color grid effect as a background. The color at the top left corner is close to medium spring green, with a hint of spring green and turquoise. The color at the top right corner is close to dark olive green, with a hint of forest green and dark slate grey. The color at the bottom left corner is close to dark cyan, with a hint of teal and light sea green. The color at the bottom right corner is close to lime green, with a hint of lawn green and chartreuse. The digits of the clock's display are made up of several segments. The digits are quite opaque, but it should be quite possible see what is beneath them. Their color is close to light green, with a hint of pale green and dark sea green. There is no gap between the digit segments. The digit segments have a drop shadow. The direction of the shadow is close to south. The shadow is offset by a very large amount. The shadow has no blur, so its edge is razor sharp. The shadow has an extremely large amount of spread, making it almost overwhelmingly large. The color of the shadow is black. The shadow is quite transparent, and subtle as a result. The digit segments have two inset shadows. First, let's describe the first of the inset shadows. The direction of the shadow is southeast. The shadow is offset very slightly. The shadow has no blur, so its edge is razor sharp. The shadow has a fair amount of spread, adding strength. The color of the shadow is close to light green, with a hint of pale green and medium aquamarine. The shadow is very opaque, and should feel quite strong. Now, let's describe the second of the inset shadows. The direction of the shadow is south. The shadow is offset by a modest amount. The shadow has no blur, so its edge is razor sharp. The shadow has a fair amount of spread, adding strength. The color of the shadow is close to medium spring green, with a hint of spring green and dark turquoise. The shadow is fairly opaque, and should be quite noticeable.

The Gem clock combines a 3x5 matrix display for the digits, a four corner color smooth gradient background, and an edge glow with themeable color, thickness, and opacity. The individual segments of the digits support theming by color, opacity, segment gap, two inset shadows, and one drop shadow. Additionally, digit spacing, overall clock aspect ratio, and edge padding can also be themed.
